Coasteering has become very popluar over the last five years and we are commited to providing the very highests standards of safety. We want everybody to enjoy themselves and be challenged in a new skill but we also want our customers to go home and not hospital. This also applies to the life saving experts of the RNLI and Coastguard to be sure that Coasteering companies know what they are doing and what the risks are.
Our list below are the standards set by us for our customers and instructors.

All participants are to wear a wetsuit, bouyancy aid, helmet and suitable training shoes.

Instructors are also required to wear the above kit and in addition carry a first aid kit and Handheld VHF radio.

Instructor and participant ratio will not exceed 1:6

All sites are accessed on their suitability prior to any session and due diligance is required to correctly access tidal situations and water depth. The suitability of the site shall be it's convienience to enter and exit at suitable points from the start to finish and evacuate any casualty confortably either by boat or land.

Sea conditions and tides will be assesed as to the suitability on the day a session will be cancelled if weather and sea state are considered by the Sea N Shore instructors to be to dangerous. Participants will be offered and new date or activity in that event.

The Coastguard is to be informed by phone or VHF radio (CH 16) prior to each session of the start times, duration, finish times, number of participants and instructors.

The Coastguard is to be informed by phone or VHF radio (CH 16) on the completion of the session and it's status. All injuries are to be notified to a Sea N Shore representative on the day.
