Kids RIB Course - RYA Powerboat Level 1 Introduction to Power-boating
This one day course is an excellent introduction to power-boating children and teaches boating techniques for launching and recovering a boat from a road trailer, everyday boat handling and the use of safety equipment. This course is great for children from the age of 8 and will cover all the basic skills required for handling a boat and giving the ability to be able to drive under supervision.
Launch and recovery (8-11 year olds observe) Preparation of boat and crew, boat handling, picking up and securing to a mooring buoy, leaving and coming alongside, being towed
Customer Care is secondary in our business as Sea Safety has to be our first.
Female instructors are available and if you would like to learn in an all female environment, this can be arranged. We shall provide you with lifejackets and waterproof clothes if required. You are required to wear a lifejacket at all times whilst onboard the boat.
Things to bring with you:
Warm cloths (We can provide waterproofs) Sun cream/ sunblock for when we are on the water.
